Pilea prefer medium to bright indirect sunlight, too little light will cause the plant to become leggy and dull. Allowing the soil to dry out in between watering is important for the health of the plant. Over watering your pilea will cause limp leaves and root rot. You should re-pot your plant in the spring every 2 years or earlier if you notice they are becoming root bound.
