Alocasia is happy in bright indirect sunlight, too much direct sunlight may cause the leaves to burn. Watering roughly every two weeks with misting will keep your plant healthy, over watering can lead to root rot so allowing the top couple inches to dry out is important. Black Vevlet Alocasia like to be somewhat root bound, so you will need to only re-pot when the plant has outgrown its pot. Ensure you choose a pot with drainage holes along with light and airy soil.
