Philodendron will thrive in bright indirect sunlight, even though it can tolerate a lower light setting you will notice the variegation best in a brighter environment. Allowing the top soil to dry out between watering is important as over watering can lead to the leaves turning yellow and drooping. This fast growing plant will need to be re-potted every year or two once you see the roots starting to appear in the drainage holes.
