This fun tropical prefers bright indirect sunlight. They do not like to be over watered as it can cause root rot, letting the top inch of soil dry out before watering again is beneficial. A good potting soil with some added perlite can help with water drainage as the plant should never be sitting in water. To increase bloom a slow release liquid formula should be used every 2-3 weeks during the spring.
